Job summary

NSPCC National Training Centre in Leicester is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead the facilities team and ensure the venue remains a centre of excellence for child protection training. You will coordinate bookings, support clients and tenants, manage maintenance and compliance, and drive a high standard of service while supporting reception duties and event setup.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Highly developed leadership and management skills.
• Experience as an operational manager in conference, hotel or leisure.
• Experience in facilities building management with willingness to train Nebosh General Certificate.
• Strong procurement and contractor management skills.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bookings and room set-ups at the NSPCC National Training Centre.
• Assist clients and tenants and ensure prompt facilities support.
• Resolve facilities queries with excellent customer service.
• Take overall responsibility for facilities management at the Centre and ensure compliance.
• Lead the Facilities team to maintain a centre of excellence for training and events.
• Support reception and help set out lunches for delegates.
