Job summary

Pertemps Leicester seeks an experienced Facilities Manager for a busy site in Leicester. This permanent, full-time post offers £34,500 to £38,400 annually, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, combining facilities management, health and safety, team leadership, contractor oversight and customer service. This is a hands-on role with responsibility across people and facilities, delivering high standards daily.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and supporting a team.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk assessments and compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and facilities contracts.
• Understanding of building maintenance and mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting a small facilities team, including training and reviews.
• Ensuring the site meets health, safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Overseeing building maintenance and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Managing contractors, suppliers and facilities contracts.
• Monitoring service levels and ensuring work is completed to standards.
• Coordinating room bookings and supporting customer service on-site.
