Job summary

NSPCC is seeking a Facilities Manager for the National Training Centre in Leicester. You will oversee bookings, room set-ups, and client support while ensuring compliance and high-quality service. This is an office-based role from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

You will lead the Facilities team, maintain a centre of excellence for child protection training, and manage procurement, contractors and safety in a purpose-built conference and meeting venue.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Experience as an operational manager in conferences, hotels or leisure.
• Experience in facilities building management with willingness to train for Nebosh GC.
• Strong procurement and contractor management skills.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating bookings and room set-ups.
• Assisting clients and tenants.
• Resolving facilities queries with excellent customer service.
• Overall responsibility for facilities management at the National Training Centre.
• Lead the Facilities team to maintain a centre of excellence for child protection training.
• Support health and safety and contracts within the venue.
