Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities maintenance and operational functions is desirable.
  • Must hold a full UK driving license and have own transport.

Job description

Turner Schools is looking to recruit a Facilities Officer to join our team and work across all our schools in the Trust. The successful candidate will work on a rotational basis, assisting with the maintenance and security of the buildings and grounds to ensure all operational needs of the Trust are met. You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be hardworking
  • Be reliable
  • Be trustworthy
  • Have experience of facilities and operational functions (desirable)
  • Hold a qualification in, or willing to be trained in one, or multiple of the following skills:
    • Electrical installation/maintenance (to Edition 18)
    • Plumbing
    • Painting & Decorating
    • Carpentry
    • Grounds Maintenance (including synthetic surfaces) and/or other recognisable trades. (essential)
  • Have experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAFM) (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) (Manual preferred)
  • Own transport (Essential)

37 hours (rota basis between 6am - 22.30)

52 weeks (some weekends)
