Job summary

Sigma Group in London is seeking a Facilities Manager (MEP Maintenance & FM Operations) to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing maintenance across a diverse property portfolio. You will drive reactive and proactive maintenance, ensuring safety, compliance and service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, delivery of maintenance programmes and collaboration with contractors and clients to optimise asset performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management, Hard FM, or Maintenance Management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and lifecycle planning.
• Experience delivering reactive maintenance and PPM programmes.
• Understanding of statutory compliance and industry best practices.
• Experience managing multi-site portfolios is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance and PPM across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance of statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Manage in-house engineers, maintenance staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Develop maintenance strategies to improve asset performance and minimise downtime.
• Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling using CAFM systems.
• Manage operating budgets, forecasts and cost control.
• Promote health, safety and compliance culture.
• Support lifecycle planning and asset replacement programmes.
• Manage minor works and projects from initiation to completion.
• Conduct audits and performance reviews to uphold standards.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
