Job summary

Smart Managed Solutions is seeking a facilities management professional to oversee maintenance and repair of M&E equipment across multiple blue‑chip contracts. You will lead a diverse engineering team, ensure operational and regulatory compliance, and deliver energy reporting to clients.

The role focuses on maintaining assets, coordinating PPM and reactive work, and ensuring documentation and certifications are current and available on request.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised industry qualification in at least one listed discipline.
• Experience with electrical standards, testing and mechanical/HVAC knowledge is preferred.
• IOSH or NEBOSH may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repair of M&E equipment across contracts.
• Lead a multi-skilled engineering team and ensure service standards.
• Monitor compliance, regulatory practice and energy performance reporting.
• Oversee certification management and ensure records are up to date.
• Balance staffing levels with cost control while delivering service excellence.
