Job summary

Sodexo in Birmingham is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead soft FM services and collaborate with the hard FM team to ensure the site runs smoothly and safely.

You will drive compliance, cost efficiency, and service quality, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and lead a team to deliver high standards. This role offers opportunities to influence operations and contribute to continuous improvement across facilities management.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification, risk assessment certification and ISO Standards Internal Auditor experience are desirable.
• Experience in facilities management across Soft and Hard FM.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Soft FM services and work with Hard FM to ensure site runs smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, COSHH, fire safety and other regulations.
• Monitor and report on financial performance and drive cost-effective improvements.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure timely, quality delivery of works.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and service reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational processes and audits.
