Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Slough is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the FM team and manage vendor relationships for the client head office.

The role operates on a fixed-term basis and centers on maintaining building fabric, safety compliance, budget adherence and excellent service delivery. You will oversee third-party contracts, monitor KPIs, maintain records and develop tenant relationships, while ensuring adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Regional facilities management experience in a multi-let property environment.
• Line management responsibility for personnel and contractors.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• IT literate with understanding of industry specific IT applications.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation; IOSH/NEBOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fabric of the building to a high standard within budgets.
• Oversee health and safety compliance on site and records.
• Oversee third party contracts to ensure service standards.
• Prepare, control and monitor service agreements within client budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements across properties.
• Compile management information, asset registers and plans.
• Develop tenant relationships and attend meetings as needed.
• Coordinate emergency plans and fire evacuations.
• Liaise with authorities, manage risk and insurance matters.
• Manage major on-site works and procurement with policy alignment.
• Produce management reports and liaise with procurement for external contracts.
