Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager for Kingsley Green, Shenley, Radlett, Hertfordshire. You will oversee day-to-day site operations to maintain a safe, clean environment in line with NHS standards.

Role involves coordinating contractors, supporting health & safety compliance, and managing daily facilities services with regular hours Monday–Friday. Competitive benefits and weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management or estates management.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBN (Health Building Notes) guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple services and priorities.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of health & safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facilities operations (cleaning, waste, maintenance, security).
• Ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers.
• Monitor service quality and resolve issues quickly.
• Support health & safety, fire safety, and infection control compliance.
• Handle site logistics including portering and transport.
• Investigate incidents and implement improvements.
• Maintain records, reports, and basic budget control.
