Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Maintenance Officer for Brooksby College. The role supports a proactive maintenance service, balancing planned and reactive tasks to keep facilities safe and functional.

You will inspect repairs, report defective equipment, respond to security-related issues on the estate, and ensure maintenance activity aligns with KPIs and SLAs. The position can be full-time or part-time with rotating shifts and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or other trade skills.
• Proven experience coordinating a range of tasks and activities.
• Proven and extensive experience of working in maintenance or a construction trade.

Responsibilities

• Support a proactive maintenance service to meet current and future needs.
• Inspect repairs where possible and report defective equipment including safety equipment.
• Be a key member of the response team to security issues on the estate.
• Ensure maintenance issues meet college KPIs and SLAs.
