Job summary

Acorn Education Trust is seeking a practical and reliable Estates Technician to support day-to-day maintenance, safety and operation of our school sites. The role will be predominantly based at Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, with flexibility to support other Trust schools when required.

Working with the Estates Manager, you will carry out minor repairs, site checks and report hazards promptly, help with room set ups, opening and securing the site, and support deliveries, contractors

Qualifications

• Practical, dependable candidate with general maintenance or DIY skills.
• Ability to work independently while following instructions.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support Trust-wide needs.
• Good communication with staff, students and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and site checks.
• Open and secure the site and act as key holder where required.
• Support deliveries, contractors and general site logistics.
• Maintain safe, clean and well-presented environments for students and staff.
