Job summary

IMH Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of council buildings in Sheffield. You will help ensure spaces are safe, clean and welcoming, and supervise Facilities Assistants and other staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring cleaning, security and waste services, carrying out building inspections, responding to queries and emergencies, assisting with room set-ups, acting as a key holder, and coordinating with contractors while maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleaning, security, waste and other facilities services.
• Carry out building inspections and report any issues.
• Respond to customer queries and facilities-related problems.
• Carry out vacant building checks.
• Assist with room set-ups and moving furniture/equipment.
• Act as a key holder, opening and locking buildings when required.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, flooding, break-ins and vandalism.
• Work with contractors and service providers to ensure standards are maintained.
• Complete records, reports and other facilities documentation.
