Job summary

Berkeley Living is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Facilities Manager in maintaining building services across its portfolio. You will coordinate contractors, liaise with compliance and health and safety colleagues, and improve operational efficiency to provide a safe, comfortable resident environment.

Based on a hybrid role across Berkeley Living sites including Hendon, Wembley, Staines, Slough, Kidbrooke & Wood Green, you will handle routine work orders, inspections,

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or building operations.
• Experience coordinating contractors and monitoring service delivery.
• Good knowledge of building systems and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine work orders and inspections to SLA standards.
• Maintain site documentation and compliance records.
• Monitor contractor attendance and review service reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections for safety and upkeep.
• Escalate issues to FM and assist with budget planning.
