Job summary

Sussex Police is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in the Estates and Facilities Management unit, based at Reigate. The role supports a multi-site FM service, balancing pro-active maintenance, H&S auditing, contractor oversight and SLA/KPI monitoring to deliver value for money and safe, compliant buildings for policing operations.

You will contribute to large departmental projects, coordinate office moves and liaise with contractors while ensuring service quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and ability to pass a Police driving assessment.
• Experience in minor repairs or similar environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent planning and organising skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in FM environment is preferred.
• IOSH Managing Safety qualification is preferable, with a time frame to achieve.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional, efficient and effective multi-disciplined FM service.
• Support larger projects such as site refurbishments, redevelopment and decommissioning.
• Manage local office moves and relocations across multiple sites.
• Drive or supervise drivers and coordinate contractor activity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and building legislation and maintain value for money.
