Job summary

Sussex Police is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join the Estates & Facilities Management unit in Staines. You will support the delivery of a professional FM service across the police estate, focusing on the soft FM function and contractor oversight, aligning with police standards and budgets.

The role requires a full driving licence, strong planning skills, and experience in a police environment or similar.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and ability to pass a Police driving assessment.
• Experience in minor repairs or improvements in a similar environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent planning and organising skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional, efficient facilities management service supporting policing operations.
• Support multi-site FM activities including site refurbishments, relocations and project work.
• Coordinate contractors and monitor service levels and health & safety compliance.
• Ensure effective front-end service delivery and value for money.
