Job description

Job Title: Facilities Co-ordinator

Salary: £28,000

Location: St Albans

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to work for an established business in the professional services industry. The successful candidate will have previous experience in facilities management and administration support, and must be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertaking regular stock takes of stationary, catering supplies, hygiene products, etc.
  2. Keeping coffee machines clean and provisioned; acting as the first point of contact for faults or engineer visits.
  3. Maintaining office printers, ensuring they are stocked with paper and ink.
  4. Monitoring the department's inbox and responding to or dealing with enquiries.
  5. Assisting with office moves and workstation setups.
  6. Ensuring the building is kept clean and tidy.
  7. Working closely with receptionists and covering reception duties when needed.
  8. Ensuring client areas and meeting rooms are properly provisioned.
  9. Reserving parking spaces.
  10. Running weekly fire alarm tests.
  11. Assisting in setting the annual IT budget.
  12. Line management of the in-house IT team.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar facilities management role.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Available for immediate start.
