Job summary

Robertson Facilities Management is seeking a hands-on caretaker to support on-site personnel, perform routine tasks and maintenance to keep facilities compliant with contract conditions. You will ensure safe energy systems operation, assist other sites as directed, and must obtain an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List before starting.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and customer service, with a focus on high standards and sustainable practices across university clients.

Qualifications

• Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine caretaker duties on site to support all on-site personnel.
• Perform planned maintenance in line with agreed timescales and procedures.
• Carry out property maintenance within competence range.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of energy systems on site.
• Provide support to other Robertson sites as directed by the Site Manager.
