Overview

Facilities Assistant - Domestic at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Blossomwood Hospital Mansfield. This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Details will be discussed at interview. The closing date is 04 February 2026.

The Operational Divisions and Service Directorates are supported by a range of corporate services. These ensure the efficient and effective operation of our core businesses and support the delivery of our performance and regulatory functions. All corporate services staff are specialists who use their professional skills to provide services across the Trust.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team at Blossomwood Hospital Mansfield. This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays, with shifts to be discussed at interview.

The primary focus of this role is cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with infection control and health and safety guidelines. In addition to cleaning duties, there may be opportunities to support with basic catering and portering tasks as needed.

Full training will be provided across all relevant duties. Uniform will also be supplied.

Training

Experience
