Facilities Assistant - Domestic

We are now looking for staff to be based at Altrincham Hospital to deliver excellent support services to the Trust.

As a Facilities Assistant – Domestic, you will deliver a full and comprehensive cleaning service to the departments in Altrincham Hospital. You may also be required to support at our other sites across Withington.

We have a Monday – Friday 06:00‑12:00 post available. As a healthcare organisation open 7 days per week, the successful candidates may be asked to work on bank holidays, including Christmas.

Please note that this is a domestic cleaning role and not a nursing assistant role.

Main duties of the job

Provision of cleaning services within a Hospital/Healthcare environment whilst working closely with Ward/Department staff to ensure a high‑quality service provision.

To work closely and support other facilities services such as catering, linen and portering to ensure the seamless delivery of facilities services.

Qualifications
  • Good written and spoken English and ability to do basic maths.
