You will deliver property and premises support, provide face-to-face client support, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Oxfordshire County Council's Facilities Management Team have a great opportunity for someone to start or build on their career in Facilities.We are recruiting two Facilities Assistants for County Hall (until decant) and other central sites, with an option tosupportcolleagues in other locations around Oxfordshire.The candidates would besupportingthe Assistant Facilities Managers and Senior Facilities Assistants and the role gives an insightful introduction to FM and office administration.
The Facilities Assistants will provide a full range of property and premisessupportduties.They will provide face to facesupportto clients and stakeholders in addition to facilitating the smooth running of the building.These post holders are responsible for ensuring that all relevant County policies and procedures are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies. This is a fully office-based role with no opportunity for home working. The working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30-4pm.
You will be a proactive andconfidentfacilities professional with experience in a busy, customer-facing environment, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high service standards.You'll have strong communication skills, a goodunderstandingof health and safety, and the ability to resolve issuesindependently, while alsosupportingand guiding colleagues.We're looking for someone organised, reliable and adaptable, with experience in facilities services and acommitmentto delivering excellent service in line with organisational values.

Your office base may be subject to change as we are currently transitioning between temporary and permanent office locations due to the closure of County Hall. If this is applicable to you, you will be notified, but no reimbursement will apply in respect of travel.
