Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Facilities Manager to support the Community Manager in achieving operational and financial goals. The role oversees technical services, repairs, and maintenance across properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and asset functionality.

You will lead maintenance teams, manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high service standards for residents and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance within corporate residential environments.
• Experience supervising contractors and coordinating with teams.
• Ability to develop and maintain risk assessments and preventive maintenance systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-facing focus.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and clock in maintenance tasks across buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Monitor electrical, mechanical, and building services to meet life span expectations.
• Provide monthly reporting on PPM, life cycle replacement, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance and safety.
• Maintain inventory and procurement within budgetary guidelines.
• Lead capital projects handover and ensure proper documentation and RAMS.
