Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Groundskeeper to support resident experience through waste management, cleaning, minor repairs, decoration and maintenance across the property.

You will collaborate with the Community and Facilities teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service for residents and visitors. The role involves coordinating with contractors, managing waste procedures, and contributing to property upkeep on-site.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a friendly and supportive team within the Community team to maintain high levels of cleanliness across the community.
• Manage waste operations including bin chute checks, swapping bins and keeping bin rooms clean.
• Prepare waste bins for collection and ensure recycling is segregated per local authority guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers, clients and colleagues to identify and respond to issues.
• Support monitoring of maintenance systems and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Assist facilities team with property maintenance records and Greystar policies.
• Attend on-site calls with the facilities team and coordinate with contractors when needed.
• Undertake minor repairs and decorating under guidance from facilities team.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and report incidents promptly.
• Move furniture and heavy items on-site as required.
• Inspect common areas and maintain refuse and recycling facilities to high standards.
• Coordinate with contractors/suppliers for minor works on-site.
• Assist in community events and meetings as needed.
• Support Community Manager and Facilities Manager with key management and security duties.
