What is the overall job?

The Façade Site Manager is responsible for the efficient and safe installation of the façade, ensuring quality standards are met, in collaboration with the Façade package manager and senior management. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating all trades on site to meet project objectives.
• Managing safe delivery, including reviewing and updating method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitoring quality control and managing activities as per the quality plan.
• Supporting project management to maximize financial benefits during installation.
• Developing the façade installation team to prioritize safety and quality.
• Supporting construction teams with façade engineering and installation methodologies.
• Monitoring changes from approved drawings and designs by cladding contractors.
• Assisting with measurement of installed work alongside Quantity Surveyors and Procurement Managers.
• Maintaining records of programme, plant, and site activities.
• Understanding contractual obligations of both head and sub-contracts.
• Communicating relevant information effectively to site teams and subcontractors.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

• Knowledge of façade construction industry and managing cladding systems and curtain walling.
• Experience managing environment, health & safety (EHS) requirements for projects of similar size and scale.
• Leadership, integrity, and creativity in technical projects.
• EHS training to support project safety and compliance.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Gold card (or working towards Black Managers Card).
• On-site curtain walling training.
