Job summary

Tee Technical is seeking a Facade Engineer/Senior Façade Engineer in London to lead façade design and consultancy projects. You will influence project direction, develop performance specifications, and support enquiries from clients while coordinating with fire, security, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide façade design input and performance specifications.
• Develop drawings for façades and perform thermal, acoustic, solar and embodied carbon assessments.
• Carry out structural calculations for frames and glazing systems.
• Coordinate façade design with other disciplines and Tender documentation.
• Assist with inspections, condition surveys, defect investigations and forensic analysis.
• Contribute to remedial design and refurbishment strategies.

Façade Engineer / Senior Façade Engineer Façade Designer Location: London (within 1 hour commute) Salary: £58,000 - £70,000 Package (DOE)

The Role

You will play a key role across both façade design and investigative consultancy projects, including:

• Design Responsibilities Provide conceptual advice on façade system selection and suitability
• Develop façade performance specifications and drawings
• Carry out thermal, acoustic, solar and embodied carbon assessments
• Undertake structural calculations for frames and glazing systems
• Coordinate façade design with fire, security and other disciplines
• Support tender-stage documentation and Employer's Requirements
• Consultancy / Survey Responsibilities Assist with façade inspections and condition surveys
• Support defect investigations and forensic analysis
• Contribute to remedial design and refurbishment strategies

About You

• Façade design experience
• Background working for a façade consultancy or specialist contractor
• Strong technical understanding of façade systems
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Interest in developing broader consultancy and survey experience
• Desirable: Previous experience of survey work is desirable but not essential as guidance will be provided
• Interest in business development and client engagement
