Job summary

Purosearch is assisting a well-established façade business to recruit a Façade Designer in North London. The role focuses on detailed façade designs from concept through installation on landmark projects across commercial, residential, mixed-use and high-rise developments.

You will produce detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or Revit, develop curtain walling and building envelope solutions, and coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Façade Designer within the UK.
• Strong knowledge of curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing or building envelope systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous).
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and façade detailing.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Façade Designer looking to work on landmark projects with a forward-thinking specialist contractor?

We're working with a well-established façade business that delivers high-quality building envelope solutions across commercial, residential, mixed-use and high-rise developments throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a talented Façade Designer to their design team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects from concept through to installation, collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors and in-house project teams.

The Role

As a Façade Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed façade designs and technical drawings while ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, specification and industry standards.
