Job summary

Nelson Permanent Placements are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading Engineering Contractor for a Fabricator Welder in Newark (NG24).

The role involves Tig welding, fabricating sheet metal (1mm–5mm) and working on hygienic pipe systems. Coded welders are desirable but not essential. You must have a valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years’ experience as a Fabricator/Tig Welder in Food Manufacturing/Plant settings.
• Recognised qualification or Apprenticeship within Fabrication/Welding.
• Valid CCNSG Level 3 or CSCS Card.
• Your own Welding kit and PPE.
• Proven experience within the Food & Bev and Hygienic Pipework Industries.

Responsibilities

• Tig welding on sheet metal (1mm–5mm).
• Fabricate sheet metal components.
• Work on hygienic pipe systems.
• Coded Welders desirable (but not essential).

Fabricator Welder

Location: Newark (NG24)

Rate: £33ph (CIS Subcontractor)

Hours: Mon-Fri (07:30-16:30); 8 hours a day

Contract: 1 month initially

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a market leading Engineering Contractor working on-site at a Food Manufacturing and Engineering Facility in Newark (NG24).

They are looking for a Fabricator Welder to undertake Tig Welding, fabricate sheet metal (1mm - 5mm) and work on hygienic pipe systems.

Please note - Coded Welders desirable (but not essential).

Fabricator Welder Requirements:

• 3-4 years’ experience as a Fabricator/Tig Welder (within Food Manufacturing/Plant settings).
• A Recognised qualification or Apprenticeship within Fabrication/Welding.
