Job summary

Technique Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. The role involves TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel, with setup of press brakes and guillotine machines, following drawings and safety standards.

Hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. A clean UK driving licence is preferred, and forklift licence is desirable for some duties.

Qualifications

• Proven fabrication competency skills.
• Ideally experience of working within the Food industry.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and deadlines.
• Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when requested.
• Flexibility to work away from home if required.

Salary: £16.00 - £17.00hr

My client are a family business with traditional attitudes towards service and quality.

They specialise in manufacturing bespoke equipment for the food, drink and pharmaceutical industry and due to company growth they are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their dynamic team.

Main duties & responsibilities of Welder Fabricator role:

• TIG Welding, general fabrication to prepare metal (stainless steel) for assembly
• Set up and prepare fabricating machines e.g. press brake and guillotine
• Study and understand drawings to determine material requirements and tasks
• Responsible for adhering to Health & Safety standards and policy

Skills/Qualification required for Welder Fabricator role:
