Job summary

Adecco is recruiting an experienced Fabricator / TIG Welder in Halesowen, West Midlands. The role involves fabricating components from drawings and performing high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel and nickel alloys.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a 7:30am to 4:00pm schedule (Fridays early finish; overtime weekends). Salary £15.00-£17.00 per hour depending on experience, with a supportive engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloys.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Attention to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble bespoke metal components from drawings.
• Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other materials.
• Work with sheet metal, plate, tube, and structural sections.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards.
• Grind, finish, and prepare parts for inspection and dispatch.
• Conduct quality checks throughout manufacturing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet production deadlines.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / TIG Welder to join a busy and growing engineering manufacturer specialising in bespoke fabrications, heat-resistant components, and high-quality engineering solutions for a range of industrial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator and TIG welder looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and assembling bespoke metal components from engineering drawings.
• Performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other specialist materials.
• Working with sheet metal, plate, tube, and structural sections.
• Ensuring all welds and fabrications meet strict quality standards.
• Grinding, finishing, and preparing fabricated parts for inspection and dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Working both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team to meet production deadlines.
