Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Liverpool is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our facilities team. You will perform maintenance and repair tasks across client sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

The role covers fabric and carpentry tasks, decorating, and basic plumbing, with a focus on proactive and reactive works. You’ll work with our PDA system, correspond with clients, and contribute to surveys, reports, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabric, carpentry, or a related trade.
• Painting and decorating experience.
• Experience with fire doors.
• City & Guilds or NVQ in carpentry.
• Current UK driving license.
• Strong IT and communication skills.
• Knowledge of H&S: COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive works within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with clients' representatives to ensure excellent service and communication.
• Conduct site surveys and produce reports, method statements, and risk assessments for planned works.
• Repair and replace floor and wall coverings, ceiling tiles, and other building works as required.
• Maintain lighting, lamp changes, filters, and basic plumbing.
• Utilize PDA system to complete works, communications, and updates.
• Complete reactive, PPM jobs, and projects in a timely manner.
• Undertake minor project works with safe, compliant execution.
