CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Borehamwood seeks a Fabric Technician with a strong painting and decorating background to deliver high-quality fabric maintenance across a professional client environment. You will handle surface preparation, filling, priming, finishing and minor repairs, work with health and safety in mind, and use PDA devices to update jobs and communicate with client representatives.

Qualifications

• Confident with surface preparation, filling, sanding, priming, emulsion and finishing.
• Previous fabric maintenance experience including basic repairs and minor works.
• Experience in high-profile or client-facing environments.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements including COSHH, Working at Heights and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, making good, priming and applying finishes
• Support minor building repairs, basic carpentry, door furniture, fixtures and fittings
• Complete touch-ups, repairs and planned redecoration works in client-facing areas
• Respond to reactive fabric maintenance tasks and complete works within agreed timescales
• Repair and replace wall coverings, ceiling tiles, flooring finishes and other general fabric items
• Liaise with client representatives and site teams to deliver a professional, tidy and customer-focused service
• Use the PDA system to update jobs, record works completed and maintain clear communication
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures and health and safety requirements
