Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our Bristol team. You will perform building fabric maintenance, carpentry, painting, and general repairs, supporting site upkeep for a client site.

The role requires practical skills in carpentry, decorating, and general maintenance, with awareness of COSHH and safety protocols. A full UK driving licence is preferred and the position is full-time and on-site at Bristol.

Qualifications

Experience in carpentry and building fabric repairs in commercial or corporate environments.
Proficient in painting and decorating and general maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations (COSHH, working at height) and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Complete repairs to doors, walls, ceilings, floors, fixtures, and fittings.
Undertake painting, decorating, patch repairs, and general building maintenance.
Support minor plumbing tasks, basic lighting maintenance, and filter changes.
Inspect site conditions, identify defects, and raise clear reports and method statements when required.
Record work in maintenance systems and liaise with client representatives and colleagues.
