Job summary

Lancer Scott, a Bristol-based maintenances and facilities management specialist, seeks a skilled building maintenance technician. You will deliver reactive maintenance for high-profile clients, sourcing parts and coordinating with the helpdesk to ensure timely, quality service.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in building maintenance, hold a trade qualification (NVQ/CG), and possess a valid UK driving licence. Fire door qualification and health & safety certs (IOSH/CSCS) are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a building maintenance role (reactive/remedial)
• Relevant trade qualification to at least NVQ L2/L3 or equivalent
• FDIS or fire door qualification
• IOSH Working Safely or CSCS Card required

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients to the highest quality standards.
• Use initiative to resolve technical problems in reactive maintenance, sourcing parts and support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works to keep client updated.
• Complete works within agreed timescales and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Record procedures and maintenance logs to minimise risks.
• Use PDAs/tablets to update work orders and progress tasks.
• Liaise with Helpdesk for efficient response, solo or in a team.
• Observe health and safety practices and complete risk assessments for tasks.
• Represent the company professionally with clients on a daily basis.
• Provide call-out support across all contracts.
