Job summary

Lancer Scott Ltd. is seeking a mobile Fabric Engineer to cover the Bristol area on a range of contracts. The role involves delivering high-quality maintenance services, handling reactive issues, sourcing parts, and providing clear write-ups for clients.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification, at least 3 years in building maintenance, and IT/tablet experience. A full UK driving license is essential. Company van, uniform, and tools are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients and deliver to the highest quality standards.
• Solve technical problems in reactive maintenance, sourcing parts and seeking manufacturer support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out for client updates.
• Carry out works within agreed timescales and in line with regulations and contract specs.
• Maintain reporting and logging procedures to minimise risks.
• Use PDAs/tablets to complete tasks and update work orders.
• Liaise with Helpdesk for efficient response to all works, solo or in a team.
• Observe health and safety at all times, including risk assessments for each task.
• Represent the company in dealings with clients, remaining courteous and professional.
• Provide a call-out response across contracts.
