Winner Recruitment is seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join a busy leisure centre in Warwick on a full-time, 3-month contract. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across the building fabric, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
You will perform general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, plastering and decorating tasks, repair doors and fittings, and keep accurate records. Hours are Monday to Friday, with a fixed weekly pattern and a pay rate of £14.50 per hour.

Our client, a leading facilities management provider, is currently looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join their maintenance team working at a busy leisure centre in Warwick.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with a strong fabric background who is confident carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a busy public-facing facility.
Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the leisure centre.
Complete general building maintenance, repairs and remedial works.
Undertake basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering and decorating tasks.
Repair doors, locks, fixtures, fittings and other building fabric.
Carry out patching, painting and general making-good works.
Respond to maintenance requests and attend to reactive issues promptly.
Complete routine inspections and identify any defects or areas requiring attention.
Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records of completed works.
Work closely with the wider engineering and facilities management team.
Previous experience working as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Handyperson or similar.
Strong practical maintenance and building fabric skills.
Experience working across commercial or public-sector environments would be advantageous.
Good knowledge of general building maintenance.
Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Based at a well-maintained leisure centre in Warwick.
Stable Monday-Friday working hours.
