Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Fabric Engineer for a high-profile building in Salisbury. You will perform planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a large on-site team, handling carpentry, decorating and basic plumbing tasks.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The role offers an up-to-up £33,000 salary plus overtime, pension and progression opportunities within a reputable FM service provider.

• Proven multi-skilled experience in building maintenance and trades.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills for site tasks.
• Experience in commercial or high-profile building environments.

Responsibilities

• Basic carpentry, painting and plasterboard work.
• Changing locks and installing door hardware.
• Floor repairs and minor repairs to office furniture.
• Installing/repairing blinds and fixtures; basic plumbing.
• Maintain and update log books; escort subcontractors on site.

Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - High-Profile Building – Salisbury – up to £33,000 + Package - No callout

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Salisbury has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer based in a high-profile building in Salisbury. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a team of roughly 50 across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £33,000, overtime, further training and a route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and plasterboard.
• Changing locks.
• Door hinges.
• Floor repairs.
• Minor repairs to office furniture
• Putting together small equipment/ Flat packs
• Kick and push plates.
• Install/ Repair blinds
• Basic Plumbing.
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on-site
• Escort subcontractors

Requirements

• Level 2 in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, etc (Desirable)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
