Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd are recruiting a Fabric Engineer for a high-profile static site in Salisbury. You will carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a team of around 50. The successful candidate will have a strong Facilities Maintenance background and a proven track record in building maintenance.

The role offers up to £33,000 plus overtime, training and clear career progression. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a competitive package and pension.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating (Desirable).
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled with broad maintenance capabilities.
• Good communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Basic carpentry tasks and minor repairs on site.
• Painting and plasterboard work as required.
• Changing locks and door hinges.
• Floor repairs and basic plumbing.
• Maintain and update log books for site maintenance.
• Assist the on-site maintenance team and escort subcontractors.

Fabric Engineer FM Service Provider - High-Profile Building Salisbury up to £33,000 + Package - No callout

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Salisbury has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer based in a high-profile building in Salisbury. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a team of roughly 50 across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £33,000, overtime, further training and a route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and plasterboard.
• Changing locks.
• Door hinges.
• Floor repairs.
• Minor repairs to office furniture
• Putting together small equipment/ Flat packs
• Kick and push plates.
• Install/ Repair blinds
• Basic Plumbing.
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on-site
• Escort subcontractors
