Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks a Fabric Engineer for a temporary role in Westminster. You will perform decorating, painting and general fabric maintenance across commercial spaces, bringing an all-round skill set and reliable performance to the site.

Fabric Engineer - FM Service Provider - Westminister - £22p/h - Temporary

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Westminister. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer, the successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties and a proven track record in Painting and decorating and commercial building maintenance.

Working hours

Monday - Friday

08:00 - 16:30 ( 30 min unpaid break)

Up to £22 per hour (umbrella)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Daily duties will be a mixture of decorating, painting student rooms, site redecorations & making good, paired with some general Fabric duties. Own tools and whites will be required on the first day, one kit of each paint brushes (emulsion/oil) and tools for wallpapering if needs be, after this any tools and painting materials will be provided.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties
• Prior experience in painting and decorating in a commercial environment
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
