Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions in Salisbury is looking for a Fabric Engineer to join a high-profile building team. You will carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a large on-site team.

The role offers a salary up to £33,000, overtime, training and a clear route into career progression, with a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Carpentry or equivalent would be desirable.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled with good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic carpentry tasks on site within a team.
• Paint and plasterboard work as required to maintain the building.
• Change locks and replace door hinges as part of ongoing maintenance.
• Perform floor repairs and minor repairs to office furniture.
• Install/repair blinds and handle basic plumbing tasks.
• Maintain and update log books and assist the maintenance team on-site.
• Escort subcontractors on site as required.

Fabric Engineer FM Service Provider - High-Profile Building Salisbury up to £33,000 + Package - No callout

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Salisbury has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer based in a high-profile building in Salisbury. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance within a team of roughly 50 across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £33,000, overtime, further training and a route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and plasterboard.
• Changing locks.
• Door hinges.

• Putting together small equipment/ Flat packs
• Kick and push plates.
• Install/ Repair blinds
• Basic Plumbing.

Requirements

• Level 2 in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, etc (Desirable)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
