Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Fabric Engineer for a leading FM service provider in Woking. You will perform fabric PPMs and reactive maintenance within a commercial building, ensuring smooth operation on-site with strong teamwork and customer-facing service.

The role requires knowledge of building fabric duties, good communication, and health & safety awareness, with on-site hours and immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance.
• Understanding of most fabric duties.
• Good communication skills.
• Health & Safety experience.
• Basic PC literacy (Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use).
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload.

• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
• Escort sub-contractors
• Undertake basic Fabric duties including touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, minor cabinet/desks repairs, and assembling small equipment like chairs

Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Woking - £21 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated inWoking.CBW is currently recruiting for a FabricEngineer.The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric duties, a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and experienceworkingwithin a healthcare environment.Working within a team on-site, he or she will need to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance.

Working hours

• Monday - Friday
• 08:00am-17:00pm
• Temp to perm
• £21per hour (umbrella)
• Immediate start

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating
