Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited invites an Electronics Design Student Placement to join our high-performance team in Enstone. You will support the design and integration of electrical systems across on-car and test environments, working with electronics engineers to deliver robust, race-ready solutions.

You should be pursuing an Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree in your penultimate year, with exposure to ECAD tools and PCB design.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year.
• Strong understanding of electronics design principles and circuit theory.
• Experience with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Zuken).
• Familiarity with PCB design, wiring harnesses, and embedded systems.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Available to attend onsite assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electronic components and systems.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layout, and wiring harness design.
• Help prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and vehicle performance teams to ensure seamless system integration.
