Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a Mechanical Design Student Placement at our Enstone facility. You will support CAD modelling, component development, and documentation to ensure race-ready concepts meet F1 standards.

The role involves collaborating with design engineers, performing design validation, and contributing to manufacturability and compliance. Start July 2027 for a one-year placement, onsite at Enstone.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering (penultimate year).
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD software and design for manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing mechanical components using CAD tools.
• Prepare technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing and vehicle integration teams.
• Help ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and regulatory needs.
