Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is offering an Electronics Design Student Placement for a 1-year period starting July 2027. You will support the design and development of electrical systems for the race car, working with engineers across on-car and test environments.

The role requires hands-on ECAD experience and a passion for motorsport. You will collaborate with software, mechanical, and vehicle performance teams, contributing to schematic design, PCB layout, and documentation to ensure

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.
• Strong understanding of electronics design principles and circuit theory.
• Experience with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Zuken).
• Familiarity with PCB design, wiring harnesses, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electronic components and systems.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layout, and wiring harness design.
• Help prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and vehicle performance teams to ensure seamless system integration.
