Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year placement based in Enstone for a Mechanical Engineering student. You will support the mechanical installation of electronic systems on the F1 car, working alongside electronics designers and other engineering teams.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with 3D CAD (3DX preferred) and contribute to documentation, wiring harness installation, and cross-group collaboration to ensure reliable integration.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical Engineering with solid understanding of engineering principles
• Seeking an industry placement in penultimate year of university
• First experience in a race team/motorsport environment during an internship or Formula Student

Responsibilities

• Assist in the mechanical integration of electronic components
• Support the design of wiring harness installation
• Help maintain documentation of electronic systems
• Collaborate with design groups, electronics production and trackside teams to ensure robust and reliable mechanical integration
