Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone is offering an Electronics Integration Student Placement to gain hands-on experience designing the mechanical installation of electronic systems for a high-performance race car. The 1-year placement starts in July 2027 and is based onsite at Enstone.

You will collaborate with electronics designers and other design groups within the Engineering Office, applying first-principles engineering and CAD skills to ensure robust, integrated systems across the car.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, penultimate year
• Experience with 3D CAD software (3DX preferred)
• Experience in a race team or Formula Student internship

Responsibilities

• Assist in the mechanical integration of electronic components
• Support the design of wiring harness installation
• Help maintain documentation of electronic systems
• Collaborate with other design groups, electronics production and trackside teams to ensure robust and reliable mechanical integration
