Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is offering an Electronics Design Student Placement for a 1-year period starting July 2027. You will support the design and development of electrical systems for the race car, working with engineers across on-car and test environments.

The role requires hands-on ECAD experience and a passion for motorsport. You will collaborate with software, mechanical, and vehicle performance teams, contributing to schematic design, PCB layout, and documentation to ensure

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.
• Strong understanding of electronics design principles and circuit theory.
• Experience with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Zuken).
• Familiarity with PCB design, wiring harnesses, and embedded systems.

As an Electronics DesignStudent Placement,you’llbe part of a team that deliverscutting-edgesolutions to meet the demands of Formula One racing.

The Role

During your placement,you’llsupport the design and development of electrical systems and components across on car, wind tunnel, pitstop and other factory test equipment projects.You’llwork closely with experienced electronics engineers, contributing to schematic design, PCB layout, harness design, and documentation processes that ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with F1 regulations.
