Hosco is listing an F&B supervisory role in Cambridge for edyn, with 40 hours per week and an on-target earnings of £14.50 per hour. The role oversees daily F&B operations at Hyatt Centric Hotel Cambridge Starman Restaurant & Bar, ensuring service excellence and compliance with standards.

This position requires leadership, strong guest service, and knowledge of health and safety standards. The successful candidate will mentor staff, manage opening/closing processes, and support cost-control

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior F&B role.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and basic financial processes.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B operations, ensuring service runs efficiently and according to company standards.
• Support the opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reporting, and stock checks.
• Ensure all food and beverage items are presented and served consistently and safely.
• Assist in training, coaching, and motivating team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate floor staff during busy periods, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to help colleagues grow and develop.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor, responding promptly to guest needs and resolving issues professionally.
• Uphold a strong customer-focused culture, delivering warm, efficient, and attentive service.
• Handle guest feedback constructively to improve overall satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times.
• Monitor cleanliness and organisation of all front-of-house areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of service areas and equipment, reporting maintenance needs as required.
• Assist with stock rotation, ordering, inventory checks, and waste control.
• Support cost-control initiatives and efficient use of resources.
• Aid in analysing sales trends and promotions to improve revenue performance.
