Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our dining team and deliver outstanding guest experiences on every shift.

You will oversee service, help with food and beverage preparation, ensure health and safety standards, coordinate events, and resolve guest queries promptly.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Food and Beverage team as they carry out their duties.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
