Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant for casual, occasional work. You will play a central role in delivering memorable dining experiences, assisting with food and beverage service, and supporting the team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, with training and rewards typical of Valor Hospitality and Hilton properties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
