Job summary

AC Hotel by Marriott Birmingham is seeking a proactive Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the dining team and ensure a consistently high standard of guest service. You’ll coordinate service during peak periods, assist in food and beverage preparation, and uphold health and safety standards.

Based in Birmingham, the role offers £13.21 per hour plus service charge, 40 hours per week across 5 days, and opportunities to develop in a collaborative hotel environment with the Valor Hospitality

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Food and Beverage team as they carry out their duties.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well‑stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
