We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced nursery in Blackburn, seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

Location: Blackburn
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, term-time only
Salary: Competitive and based on experience

About the Role:
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 2–5 in their early development. Working alongside qualified teachers and early years practitioners, you will assist in delivering a broad and balanced EYFS curriculum, supporting individual learning needs, and promoting a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

Work with individual children and small groups to support learning, development, and wellbeing

Assist with observations, assessments, and record keeping

Contribute to the daily routines of the nursery, including hygiene, mealtimes, and outdoor play

Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

Recent experience working in an early years or nursery setting

A sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children

Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
